Things I really want to see...

  • I really want to attend a performance of this, as it is one of my favorite short stories:

Sonnyslogoblack_2

If you haven't read "Sonny's Blues," by James Baldwin, I highly recommend you do so.  It is an amazing piece.

  • I am definitely going to this exhibit of Packard Jennings at the Catharine Clark Gallery. The ideological perspective of the artist, Packard Jennings, reminds me of the work of Banksy.

I am absolutely enamored with Packard Jennings' idea of printing out these "coupons":

Walcoupon

and placing them in Walgreens adverts, which is--of course--something I'd never do.

And here is an excerpt  from an article at SFWeekly that illustrates some more of the work of Packard Jennings where he "'shopdropped' his handmade anarchist action  figures in Target and Walmart stores".
