- Runagogo Round II: Total mileage 128 miles* (only counting actual runs, not counting cycling, walking,
etc).
It felt as if I had to stop a million times today during my run. I have taken off way too much time from running.
Two things I absolutely hate:
1) Running too soon after eating. I swear I couldn't stop wanting to "blow chowder" during my entire run and I could just imagine my deli-cheese sandwich coming up my throat un-chewed. I know, gross!
2) I almost hate running in new shoes (see my $29.99 specials to the left) as much as I hate running in flat, worn-out shoes that make my knees ache. I had to stop running in my previous pair due to knee pains from flat (too many miles) shoes. Yet, when I get new shoes I spend each run, till they're worn in, thinking about how uncomfortable they feel on my feet. Ugh!
*Oh dear, it looks like I am either going to have to do doubles (twice a day runs) or longer evening runs if I want to make 200 miles by July 1st. Not sure if I am up for it!*
